Polyester offers a soft yet extremeley durable alternative to nylon. Not only is it mold and mildew resistant, it maintains its shape when wet, which nylon does not offer. Plus polyester has a higher tensile strength at 1200 lbs (nylon of the same width has a tensile strenth of 1000lbs) while also offering more design options and colors!
